Dieffenbacher to supply world’s first palm MDF plant

Dieffenbacher is to supply the world’s first plant for the production of MDF from date palm fronds to Egypt. The project involves collaboration with WESER Industrie- und Anlagentechnik GmbH, an engineering, procurement and construction specialist, as well as the Egyptian EPC contractor MT Mixers for the customer National Service Projects Organization (NSPO). The HDF/MDF facility is being built in the Toshka region and is scheduled to produce its first board in the fall of 2025.
