Austria’s sawmill industry expects reduced production in 2023

2023 started for Austria's sawmill industry under subdued global economic conditions. In this regard, there are no signs of any change for the second quarter either. According to the Austrian wood trade association, for 2023, a reduced production level compared to the previous year is therefore expected. In terms of sales, no seasonal revival of the markets is currently to be expected.
