Latvia’s forest industry hits export record last year

Last year's 11 months saw a new export record in the forest sector, but this year there is a concern about the decline in prices and large surpluses, Latvian Radio reported on January 27. The forest sector – forestry, woodworking and furniture production – is one of the cornerstones of the Latvian economy.
