Interfor acquires minority interest in GreenFirst Forest Products, continuing expansion in eastern Canada
  B.C. lumber giant Interfor Corp laid the groundwork for additional expansion in Eastern Canada this week by buying a 16.2-per-cent stake in GreenFirst Forest Products Inc., a transfer analysts referred to as a prelude to a takeover.  Interfor purchased 28.7 million shares in GreenFirst for $56-million on Monday from pulp and paper firm Rayonier A.M.
