Western Forest Products (WFP) announced that starting last week, their Chemainus Sawmill is once again undergoing a production curtailment due to a lack of logs. The last curtailment started on February 2nd and lasted nearly three weeks. Shari Burnett, WFP’s content and media manager, confirmed the curtailment saying, “Western is forecasting tight log inventories that require us to temporarily curtail operations at our Chemainus sawmill.
