Södra has decided to raise timber prices in order to maintain the flows of raw materials to industry mainly due to a continued high demand for forest products and at the same time a great deal of uncertainty in Europe. Contractors are also compensated for increased fuel costs. As of the 11th March, Södra will increase the prices of several timber ranges in order to strengthen the members' profitability and maintain the flows to the industry.
